Applications are now open for the 2026 TaiwanICDF International Higher Education Scholarship Program. In collaboration with leading universities in Taiwan, the TaiwanICDF offers fully funded scholarships across a wide range of English-taught programs at undergraduate, master, and PhD levels.
These scholarships are designed to meet the real development needs of partner countries, empowering recipients to strengthen their global communication skills, expand professional horizons, and return home equipped to drive sustainable change and national progress.

Eligibility Requirements
Applicants must:
– Be citizens of a country on the TaiwanICDF Eligible List (including select African countries)
– Not be nationals of the Republic of China (Taiwan) or overseas compatriot students
– Meet admission requirements of the partner university they apply to
– Fulfill all requirements for a Resident Visa (Code: FS) and Alien Resident Certificate (ARC) in Taiwan
– Note: TaiwanICDF reserves the right to revoke scholarships if visa requirements are not met
Scholarship Benefits
The TaiwanICDF Scholarship is fully funded, covering:
– Airfare: Roundtrip economy-class tickets arranged by TaiwanICDF
– Housing: Mandatory residence in student dormitories
– Tuition fees: Fully covered by the program
– Credit fees: Covered as required by the university
– Insurance: Comprehensive medical and accident coverage for the duration of study
– Books: Costs for required textbooks approved by the institute director
– Monthly Allowance:
– Bachelor: NT$15,000
– Master: NT$18,000
– PhD: NT$20,000
Application Procedure
– Complete the online application before 15 March 2026
– Submit documents to the ROC (Taiwan) Embassy/Office in your country
– Embassy conducts first review and forwards recommended applicants to TaiwanICDF
– Joint Recruitment Committee reviews applications
– TaiwanICDF announces scholarship recipients by 10 June 2026
