Applications are now open for the 2026 Egypt-Japan University of Science and Technology (E-JUST) TICAD8 Postgraduate Scholarship Program. This fully funded scholarship, part of the JapanAfrica (TICAD) initiative, offers outstanding African students the opportunity to pursue Master degrees at E-JUST, a leading research university in Egypt inspired by Japanese excellence.
Eligibility Requirements
Applicants must:
– Be researchers or instructors (or expected to become one) seeking an M.Sc. degree in Science, Engineering, or related fields
– Hold nationality of an African country (except Egypt)
– Have a current home address in an African country
– Not be serving in the military
– Fulfill all admission requirements and pass academic interview and oral examination
– Preferably plan to return to their home universities or institutions after completion (endorsement from home institution required)
Scholarship Coverage
The E-JUST TICAD8 Scholarship is fully funded, covering:
– Tuition fees
