The Visiting Chair is a co-financed collaboration between the Nordic Africa Institute and the Department of Peace and Conflict Research at Uppsala University, Sweden. Established in 2003, it honors the legacy of Professor Claude Ake, a distinguished scholar, philosopher, teacher, and humanist.
