Credit Manager

REQUIREMENTS
1. Degree in business administration or related field.
2. Masters degree is an advantage
3. Proven experience as a credit manager or similar credit management role
4. At least 5-10 years experience
5. Must have a high level of integrity
6. Must have worked in a financial institution
7. Should know how to prepare regulatory reports to Bank Of Ghana and other relevant reporting institutions
8. Should possess good interpersonal, analytical and communication skills as well as have the ability to work under pressure.
9. Good knowledge in Excel and other Microsoft office tools.
JOB DESCRIPTION
1. Manage the credit management function and oversee the credit control function.
2. Lead and motivate the credit /marketing team in order to achieve sales targets.
3. Prepare monthly reports on outstanding accounts and key performance indicators to Management.
4. Introduce and evolve effective reporting and assessment tools to minimize risks and identify problem areas and customers.
5. Review and oversee the overall credit assessment process.
6. Provide guidance, supervise and mentor the credit team.
7. Ensure NPLs are kept low and PAR is within regulatory benchmark.
